Your questions about vacation photo sharing
Do we need to install an app?
Everyone has the choice: without an app via the web page, or with the app (App Store, Google Play) — we explain the differences. Either way, one click on the invitation link (or a scan of the QR code) is enough, and everyone ends up in the same album.
Can those who stay home follow the trip?
Yes: invite them into the album and they see the photos and videos as they arrive, like and comment on them — as if they were there. Perfect for the grandparents following a family trip, or friends back home.
Who can see the photos/videos of our vacation?
Only the people you invite: the album is not public. You can remove content or exclude an unwanted guest. Eventer is GDPR-compliant, with servers in Europe, and claims no rights over your content.
Is there a limit to the number of photos or videos?
No: the number of photos and videos is unlimited, even in the free version.
Can photos/videos be added after the vacation?
Of course: latecomers can add their photos and videos after the trip is over. You and your guests will be notified.
Will our photos disappear after a few months?
No. Unlike most solutions, your Eventer album remains accessible to you and your loved ones for as long as you wish — a year from now, ten years from now.
How do I get all the photos when we're back home?
By default we keep the event for you indefinitely (unless you delete your event). If you wish, though, you can retrieve the photos/videos in a few clicks from your smartphone or computer.
How much does Eventer cost for a vacation?
The essentials are free: shared album, unlimited participants, unlimited photos and videos, photobooth, Live Movie projection, After Movie. For a vacation, you probably won't need anything more.
